Dorsino...how? One step at a time, my friend, one step at a time....  I was fortunate in that my Bavarian ancestors stayed put in one place for a while, and the town&#039;s Catholic church records go rather far back.  When I ran out, a German cousin was able to find more in civil court records to go back a little more.  Pinpointing the place from which they came is only the first step - it helps if that place has records!]]></description>

They were farmers and carpenters, so I fail to see any seasonal connection with it.  For farmers, I would expect shortly after harvest, so no obvious connection.]]></description>
